Half Time Sports Grill is the type of place you start off your night. The drinks are cheap and strong but the crowd isn't the type to get the party started. Grab a quick drink here and then head out to the real party. -Review of Half Time Sports Grill

Horse Shoe - There's not much to be said about the cocktails at [name]. They're not necessarily cheap, but they're as tasty as they are potent...a delicious and dangerous combination.

Brandt's Bar
(405) 692-2668
14924 S Meridian Ave

Brandt's Bar - While you don't need to be wearing a suit to get into Brandt's Bar, looking nice will help. The crowd is attractive and the bartenders even more so. If you're looking for a nice spot to hang with friends and meet new (attractive) people, Brandt's Bar will do the trick.

Midway - If you need a place to unwind after another week of mindless TPS reports, Midway, located at [Address], might just do the trick. Pretty barebones and without fanfare, but the prices are reasonable and there's no hassle at the door.

Jerry's, located at [Address], is your garden variety pub. It's not going to win any raves of "Hottest. Bar. Ever.," but it's a serviceable place to relax and unwind. Just keep your expectations grounded. And there's something to be said for beers that cost less than $14 bucks. Review of Jerry's.

50 Yard Line Club, located at [Address], has an atmosphere that's bordering on dive. Don't take a date there-unless she's cool as hell and is super low-maintenance-but it's a good place to chill and unwind. -Review of 50 Yard Line Club

Well - Some bars are legendary. The kind of watering hole that you'll remember for most of your life. Well? It's not one of them. Located at [Address], it's pretty much your vanilla bar. Which isn't a bad thing.

Essential Bartending Equipment

Ice Bucket and Tongs - This is mainly used for easy access, don't get one too big that all the ice melts before you use it but don't get something so small that you have to keep refilling it either.

Combo Corkscrew/Bottle Opener - Obviously needed to open that fine wine or bottles of beer that don't have twist tops.

Paring Knife/Cutting Board - Used to cut up lemons and limes for garnishing along with other fruits in certain drinks.

Shaker - Used for mixing various drinks.

Measure - There is a special device that looks like two triangles on top of each other at the apexes but a lot of people use a shot glass these days.

Bar Strainer - Used in a lot of cocktail recipes to stain out ice that might have been used to cool ingredients in a recipe. It looks like a little paddle with lots of round rings on the end.

Lemon/Lime Squeezer - This has a flat collector base with a raised pointed section in the middle with ridges. Its used to squeeze out fresh lemon or lime juice.

There are over 20 different styles of glasses from brandy to wine. Did y...
