Supreme
(912) 285-3136
657 Oak St
Waycross, GA
Description
Supreme - Dress up. Supreme isn't necessarily "formal," per se, but it's sexy and sleek; this is the kind of place where if you're dressed like a tool, you'll stick out like a sore thumb. (Probably more than a sore thumb, actually-those don't really stand out when you think about it). The point is: it's a solid place. Bring your A-game.

Traffic Light
(912) 285-4188
650 Oak St
Waycross, GA
Description
Traffic Light - If you have to work the next morning, we bet a thousand bucks you're going to call in sick. That's because Traffic Light, at [Address], is open all night. So the odds of you getting a good night sleep are closed to zilch - we predict you stumbling home around 8am and flopping into bed, forgetting to brush your teeth. And nothing wrong with that.

Coyote's
(912) 284-0001
140 Lee Ave
Waycross, GA
Description
Coyote's, located at [Address], has an atmosphere that's bordering on dive. Don't take a date there-unless she's cool as hell and is super low-maintenance-but it's a good place to chill and unwind. -Review of Coyote's

Oak Plaza Lounges
(912) 449-5776
526 Gordon St
Blackshear, GA
Description
Oak Plaza Lounges - Think of Oak Plaza Lounges as a guaranteed hangover. And we mean that in the best possible way. Located at [Address], it's open all night, so it's a pretty good bet that you're going to be feeling it the next morning. Enjoy the late-night debauchery, but drink lots of water and pop some Advil.

Bubba's Place
(912) 345-0320
1302 Van Streat Hwy
Nicholls, GA
Description
Bubba's Place - Think of Bubba's Place as a guaranteed hangover. And we mean that in the best possible way. Our Place
(912) 285-2839
1356 Albany Ave
Waycross, GA
Description
Our Place - There's not much to be said about the cocktails at [name]. They're not necessarily cheap, but they're as tasty as they are potent...a delicious and dangerous combination.

Little Knights Of Georgia
(912) 285-3561
215 Knight Ave
Waycross, GA
Description
Little Knights Of Georgia, located at [Address], has a smooth and chill vibe. It's not the kind of place where you'll be dancing on tables, but it's no dive bar, either. A good mix of laid-back décor and casual comfort. -Review of Little Knights Of Georgia

Dennis & Marty's
(912) 285-2878
1997 State St
Waycross, GA
Description
Dennis & Marty's - Here's the problem with most bars: the vibe sometimes dies around 1am. Luckily for you, when most bars are sweeping up the floors and closing shop, Dennis & Marty's kicks it into another gear. The place usually keeps it going 'til way late-guaranteeing a late and out-of-control night.

Shenanigans
(912) 449-3471
501 E Carter Ave
Blackshear, GA
Description
Shenanigans - Of the city's hundreds and hundreds of bars, Shenanigans fits right in the middle of the bell curve - a place to hit with your buddies on the way to your ultimate destination. Not the ideal spot for fabulous, drunken debauchery, but it's a good as place as any to pre-drink.

Bunkley's Bottle Shop

Stocking up your home bar

By Russ Cobbe

Last week we discussed what bartending equipment you should have in your home bar. This week we will cover the ingredients you need to complete the setup of your home bar.

Your main selection of alcohol should include 750ml bottles of the following: Gin, Vodka, Rum, Bourbon, Scotch, Tequila, Vermouth, Red and White Wine, Brandy, Port & Sherry plus whatever liqueurs are most palatable to you and your friends. The most popular liqueurs to have would be coffee, orange, irish crme and crme de cassis.

Next up would be bitters. Bitters are made from a variety of roots, barks, berries and herbs. They generally add a bit of zing to your drinks. You should have Angostura, Peychaud's, Orange and Abbotts Aged bitters.

For mixing you'll need a good variety to make a lot of different recipes. The standards include multiple bottles of Mineral water, cola, ginger ale, club soda, tonic water, lemon/lime sodas and fresh juices (orange, pineapple, lemon, lime and tomato). Don't forget to have lots of ice on hand. If you make your own ice use bottled water so you don't get a chlorine flavour to your drinks. Ice should go in the glass first to avoid splashing and to cool the ingredients as they get added.

Finally you will need some things to garnish the drinks to add that special touch. The essentials include cocktail onions, stuffed olives, lemons, limes, oranges, strawberries, celery stalks, Tabasco sauce, maraschino cherries, pineapple...
